Fast Sunday

Every Sunday morning when I wake Izzy up she asks me is it fast sunday? Most Sundays I say nope, not today. On the one sunday a month I tell her it is she says phew! I hate church so at least it will be quick today.

Americish

Spencer is so funny because you would say something from England is English he calls American things Americish. He asked me yesterday if since Izzy was born in America if she will speak Americish rather than English. He makes me laugh.

Funny Spencer

We went Trick or Treating just like everyone else this past week. At one point Spencer came running back to me. He had just been to a house which had Chinese banners on either side of the door, I'm unsure what the banners said. Spencer came running to me and asked a very serious question, " mom, how do you say Trick or Treat in Spanish?" I was very confused. I told him I wasn't sure and that he could just say Trick or Treat in English. I then asked him why do you need to know how to say it anyway? He answered, " that house there, they have Spanish signs on the front door and I want to make sure I ask in their language so they understand me." I smiled and told him not to worry about it. He is so thoughtful. Though it would have been kind of funny to ask some Chinese people for candy in Spanish with a cute British accent :)

Girl trouble

Jace told me he has 2 girls in his class who have recently told him, they like him. So I asked him if he liked any of the girls, he got this look on his face then he said "well they are both nice and they are both pretty, but one is a little fat and I like skinny girls so, I like the skinny one". ...... And so it begins....

A Toy for the bath

Tank asked me yesterday if I could go get him a toy to play with in the bath and I told him, we do not have time, wash up and get out. He got this smile on his face and said, "Mom, if you do not get me something to play with I will be forced to play with my weiner". Why is it that I can not hold it together long enough to walk out of the room? :~}

Question for All ya All's

How is it that I have the least amount of kids but yet most of the stories?????

Football

Last night was Jace's last football game and he was on fire! He got 4 kids flags and made a touch down, I went up to him after his touch down to give him some water and he was sooo excited! He said "Mom did you see me get Treyson's flag and then get a homerun" I smiled at him and siad "You mean a touch down" he laughed and said "Oh, yea... That!" I love my boys!

New York

These are the things I will want to ponder about when they are older.... Aunt Lindsey lives in You Nork..... just ask Talan! And if Jace does not stop correcting him, I am going to ring his neck! Let him be young!!!!

It is not a Mohawk Mom

So lately Jace has been wearing his hair in a Mohawk, he is so funny about it, he can do it him self so it usually takes 10 minutes in front of the mirror every day, so now we adjust our schedule in the morning to fit that in. Last Tuesday Jace got to have a sleep over and he was being a brat to Talan so I told him he better knock it off. So the next day we went swimming with Jimmy and again he was making comments about being mean to Talan. So Saturday Morning on the way to breakfast when he said something again to Talan, Ryan told him he has been able to wear his hair in a Mohawk cause he is a nice kid, but since he is acting like a punk he can not wear his hair in a Mohawk and look like a Punk also. So this morning he went in and after 10 minutes he comes out with a Mohawk, I did not even say anything he said "Mom, I know what you are thinking, but this is not a Mohawk, it is a Fohawk, and Dad did not say anything about Fohawks" I just laughed.

Thought it would be cool

So Talan came in my room this morning crying and holding his face, so I asked what was wrong and he said Jace punched him in the Eye. I called Jace in and asked him what happened and he said "Nothing, he already has 1 black eye (last week wrestling with friend) I wanted to see what he would look like with 2!"

Nocturnal

Lee plays a game with the children called the Tickle Monster. Its kind of like "The Claw" from Liar Liar. Well tonight it was about 6 :30 (our kids go to bed at 7) and Spencer was asking for the Tickle Monster. Lee said No the tickle monster has gone to bed. He then told him he needed to get ready for bed or the Spanking Monster would come out. Kaylee then said well daddy you have a problem. Lee asked Why. She said cause its not dark. He said that has nothing to do with the Spanking Monster and Kaylee said oh yes it does. The Spanking Monester is Nocturnal and since we go to bed when it is still light out we dont ever see the spanking monster anymore. Oh Man, she is getting to be so funny. And some of the things she comes out with we just cant argue!

How am I suppose to Draw that?

So Jace has to write in a journal every Sunday night. So tonight he decided to write about the sleep over he had with a friend. This particular friend loves to play Xbox, so when they are together that is what they do. So when he wrote about it in his journal, he gets to draw a picture. Well he told Ry the picture he drew was a picture of a dead guy and a guy standing above him with a gun in his hand since that is the game they played at Seth's. So Ryan told him to erase it and draw a picture of him and Seth sitting on the bed across from the TV, He looked at Ryan and asked him "How am I suppose to draw a picture of 2 kids sitting on a bed holding controller's across from a TV" Ryan just looked at him and then said, "well you found a way to draw a picture of a dead guy and a guy holding a gun, you can probably figure it out".

Pinyato

Talan asked me if I knew what Pinyato means, So I asked him "Not, Talan what does Pinyato mean?" So he says "It is Pinata........................ in sign language".

Come Quick

Talan and Jace when in the garage and Talan comes running into the house and said Come Quick, Jace got hit in the head and he is crying. So I walked over and opened the door, just as Jace was coming in and he said "Mom, Talan hit me in the head".

Our Ham

We decided to go down to the 5 mile trail and Rollerblade (Ryan and I), Run (Bowdee), Long Board (Trent) Bike Ride (Boys). So Trent came over and we were getting ready to go, Trent decided it was going to be too hot he needed to change, we dropped him by his house and he jumped out of the truck and shut the door and started running, Talan did not even miss a beat he yelled "YEA YOU BETTER RUN". It was sooo funny.

Jesus Made It.

Today in Church, during the sacrament, the kids were playing with some stuffed animals. I said to them you guys put them down you are supposed to be thinking of Jesus right now. Kaylee looked at me and said Mom, I am playing with something Jesus Made so how could I not think of him, I am thinking of him while I play with my stuffed animal. It was hard now to laugh and smile when she said that. Instead I just turned and faced the front and thought crap! What do I do now? Nothing!

Earthquake / Tsunami

Yesterday morning we were watching the earthquake coverage in Japan. They then were talking about the Tsunami and showing possible countries which would be effected. The US was lite up in red along with a number of other Countries. Kaylee said to me Mummy is that America? I said Yes. She then asked the America where all my cousins live? I said yes. And then she sat there quiet not able to take her eyes off the TV for a bit. Finally I told her it was time to go to school, she looked at me and just started sobbing. I cuddled her and asked whats wrong and she said I'm so scared for all my cousins. Poor thing thought you were all going to be hurt by the Tsunami.

Fast Asleep or Sleeping Fast?

Every morning Spencer is the first person in our house awake. And every morning we have to say to him....Shhhhh Kaylee's still fast asleep. Wel this morning he came into our bedroom and as he and Lee were getting ready to go downstairs he said to Lee.... Shhhh Kaylee is sleeping really fast. Lee said you mean fast asleep? Spencer said no sleeping really really fast. He's a cutie.

Its always Ava...

Ok so a few quick little stories.......
1: This morning i was in a rush to get dressed and ready for the day kind of stressed out and was getting dressed and Ava was like mom, mom, mom, MOMMY..... So of course i turned around and said WHAT..... and cute little Ava was holding my bra and said i didnt want you to forget to put your boobs on before we leave. I was laughing so hard.....

2: Again Ava anyone that has ever dressed Ava knows for some reason she always complains about putting her pants on. So this morning i was trying to get her to put on her pants and i had a few pairs just as a back up in case she would not wear the first ones that i would attempt to make her put on.. So anyways i start to say " here Ava put these on" and as i sit waiting to here her fight me she simple walks up and says i don't think you want me to wear those ones and i said oh really why? And she said well those pants right there give me attitude. and those pants right there make me whine so i dont think i should wear any pants unless you want to have a bad day... how do i not laugh at that.... I love my kids

She can tell time

So the other day we were doing something and the kids asked if they could do something else and I said well you have to wait for 30 minutes. Aspin then turns to Brian and I and says "THATS A WHOLE HALF HOUR" Brian and I just started busting a gut it was so funny.
