Forever

Tonight Lee and I were having our dinner, he got home late from work so I fed the kids earlier, I had given the kids a cupcake and Spencer had made a huge mess. Kaylee offered to vacuum up his mess and I jumped all over that because it isnt often that she does anything around here. Well she got the vacuum out and plugged it in then all the sudden we heard Spencer say to her, When Im Kaylee I will do it this way. And Kaylee said to him you will never be Kaylee. And he was so cute and said what? I have to always be Spencer? He then came into me and said mommy Kaylee said I never get to be Kaylee. And I said she's right you will always be Spencer. He was so shocked. He said but I thought that in a few years I could be Kaylee and she could be Spencer. He said well how am I ever going to be a daddy if I have to always be Spencer? Bwahahahahah! It was so funny! I guess it can be confusing for them cant it.

Carson St.

After the funeral on saturday, Ty and I had Cohen riding with us back to the hotel. Ty had the GPS on and while we were on the freeway it said a few times exit to Carson St in 2 miles, then 1 mile, etc. Cohen piped up from the back seat "Do you even know Carson?" Ty and I started laughing so hard. A few minutes later he said "Do you know where to find Carson's house?" What a cutie!!

Strangers

We are on our way to London right now and when I was getting Spencer changed ready to go he asked "where are we going today mommy?" I said "London" he said oh to beat up all the strangers?" I just chuckled. I guess we have been talking a little to much about stranger danger.

Human Rights Day

So Monday was Human Rights day and Talan learned about Martin Luther King. On they way home he was telling me what he learned in school and told me all about Martin Luther King. So last night we were watching Minute to Win it and there was a White girl and Black guy playing on the same team. Talan came and sat with me and when it was the guys turn he turns to me really quick and says "Is that Martin Luther King?" I love the innocents of kids!

Awe Bless

Right so I know this isnt my child but I wanted to share this. I was texting mom this morning and she told me that Caden, Coles little boy, said to Cole yesterday "I know we cant see grandma anymore but can we call her?" Poor child. Its so hard to explain death to children. But this was really cute and I thought I would share.

Mormon Cereal

So this morning I was upstairs getting ready for church and Spencer walked in my room. He looked at me and said Mommy do you know where the Mormon one is? I said yeah Spencer its in the living room. I thought he was talking about his Book of Mormon and how he wanted it rather than his Bible. He then said no mom I think the Mormon one is in the garage. I said oh no I dont think it is Im sure its in the living room with the other one. He said what other one? I said the bible one. He looked at me all weird and said the Bible cereal? I was like HUH? and he said Mom I want the More Men Cereal out of the garage. Oh right that? He wanted the Rice Crispy Cereal with the men in it. Yep I sometimes have a hard time understanding my childrens accents. But it was super cute and super funny!

When Im the mommy

Quiet often Kaylee will say to me, When Im a mommy Im going to do this or Im not going to do that. Well Spencer has caught onto it and the past two days anytime I do anything he doesnt like he has said When Im the Mommy. For example, today we were in the store he asked for a chocolate egg, A Kinder Egg his very Favorite, When I said you can have one if you are a good boy when we leave he said, When Im a mommy I will let me boys have all the kinder eggs they want and they can have them straight when we get to the shop. Tonight I was making dinner and he was STARVING so he said When Im the mommy Im not going to ever make dinner we are going to have Peanut Butter and Jelly every night. Good for you! When you are the mommy you can..... oh wait your never going to be the Mommy because YOUR A BOY! HA!

What?

Today I was making dinner and Kaylee walked into the kitchen and said to me: "Mommy when I am a mommy I hope I have a daughter just like me" I asked her why is that and she said "Are you serious?" I said Yes Why? And she said "Pft (you know the noise you make with your mouth like I cant belive Im about to tell you this stuff you should already know) Because I am so clever, so helpful, so nice, and obviously the most beautiful little girl in the world." That is when Lee who was behind me said yep and the most humble, and modest too huh. She is so funny.

£1,000,000

The other day Lee and I were talking and he said "I doubt it" to something I had said, I dont even remember what it was to be honest. Anyway, Kaylee said what does I doubt it mean. I said it means you dont think something is going to happen. Lee then said for example I doubt anyone is going to give me £1,000,000 today. Kaylee looked at him and as serious as could be she said: "yay thats true, its pretty late in the day." Lee and I looked at each other and started laughing and then I said to her. "Yeah true maybe they will give it to him tomorrow instead" She laughed out loud when she realised how silly it all sounded. So funny!

Smarty pants

So of my 2 boys, Talan is not the one I assume will be smarter then I am.......... We were on our way to school today and I asked him how high he could count and he decided to show me rather then tell me and counted to 100. Then I asked him about his ABC's, he gave me this, "wow mom that is so easy look" and said his ABC's as fast as he could. So then I said "Ok if you are so smart, say them backwards" Again he glared......and then Started......ZYXWVUTS..... etc he got caught up on a couple letters but for the most part, he did it, and I for 1 was shocked! I could not believe my 5 year old just recited (for the most part) his ABC's Backwards!

BOB

So when Talan was born, Jace was only 20 Months old, Ryan's mom bought Jace a doll. Ryan and I were not to hip on it but it kind of made sense for him to be able to practice and have a baby of his own to hold and feed when mommy was holding or feeding Talan, and above any of that Jace LOVED IT!! He took him everywhere, Jace named him Bob (Bob the Builder) and Bob came every where with us!!! Well Fast forward to 2011... Tonight at Dinner Jace out of the blue says, "remember when I had that stuffed Human". I just looked at him, until he explained "You know Bob, when Talan was born". Course he had to add "Talan you were so much cuter when you were a baby". I love my 6 Year old he is an absolute Joy!!!
